Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy pharyngeal functions with lateral negative space Healthy dentition CBCT scans acquired in full centric occlusion. Patients with narrow maxillary arch as determined by Ashley Howey model analysis No history of nasal or upper airway surgery. Patient with no prior expansion treatment. Patient with good periodontal health.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of maxillary trauma Patients with a cleft palate, cleft lip, or any craniofacial syndromes. Patients with hypodontia in any quadrant excluding third molars.
