Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 and above Closed distal radius fractures with or without associated distal ulna fractures. Presenting within 72 hours of injury.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Open fractures. Neurovascular deficit or compartment syndrome. Known allergy to local anesthetics. Polytrauma or head injury impairing pain assessment.

Pain (VAS Score)Timepoint: 1. Baseline VAS (before administration of block) 2. Pre-manipulation VAS (10 minutes after block, immediately before reduction) 3. Intra-procedural VAS (during fracture manipulation peak pain) 4. Post-procedural VAS (15 minutes after completion of reduction and immobilization)
