Intervention1: Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation(tDCS): Active tDCS of 2mA for 20 min with anode over Left DLPFC and cathode over Right Supraorbital Region (10 sessions with 5 per week) Control

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 65 with an ICD 11 diagnosis of GAD On dose equivalent antidepressant for atleast 4 weeks prior to baseline assessment HAM A score more than 8 at baseline Provided written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known case of Seizure disorder Metal implants in the head or pacemaker Head injury Severe psychiatric comorbidity Severe unstable medical condition Substance use except tobacco

To determine the efficacy of active Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation compared to sham stimulation in reducing anxiety symptoms in patients with Generalised Anxiety DisorderTimepoint: baseline, 2weeks, 4weeks
