Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing surgery. Patients diagnosed with primary advanced osteoarthritis of the knee. Varus deformity less than 20 degrees.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Valgus deformity or severe varus deformity. Ligamentous instability non functional medial collateral ligament. Neuropathic joints Charcot joint or other severe neurological deficiencies. Inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis. Active local or systemic infection. Neuromuscular disorders affecting gait or rehabilitation. Revision total knee replacement. Extremely high BMI. Patients unfit for surgery.
