Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals aged 18 years and above, with hip fractures. Fractures occurring in the femoral neck classified as OTA/AO 31B, intertrochanteric region classified as OTA/AO 31A1 and 31A2, or subtrochanteric region classified as OTA/AO 31A3 of the proximal femur.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Within six months before surgery, if any of the following events occur: 1.Acute myocardial infarction 2.Acute pulmonary embolism or deep venous thrombosis 3. Ischemic stroke that is lack of blood supply to the brain 4. Cardiac or vascular stenting that is placement of devices to open blocked arteries or veins 5. Individuals with a recurring fracture in either the same hip or the opposite hip. 6. Bilateral hip fractures 7.Hip fractures as part of polytrauma incidents, or fractures resulting from high energy trauma 8. Patients having open or infected wound
