Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mothers or primary caregivers having children aged 0 to 59 months. Children permanently residing in the selected rural study area of Gautam Buddha Nagar for at least 6 months prior to the survey. Children belonging to low socioeconomic households as per the Modified BG Prasad Classification. Mothers or caregivers willing to participate and provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with congenital anomalies, genetic syndromes or autoimmune diseases, cleft lip or palate, Down syndrome, autism, sickle cell anemia that may affect feeding or growth. Children suffering from severe clinical illness or severe acute malnutrition requiring immediate medical care at the time of the survey. Children hospitalized within the last 7 days due to acute illness. Children with physical disabilities or chronic conditions affecting anthropometric assessment. Mothers or caregivers not available after two repeated household visits or unwilling to participate in the study.
