Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 40 years of both sex. Body mass index 25 kg per square metre to less than 30 kg per square metre. Participants who give written consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or lactating women. Patients with severe systemic diseases including severe hypertension, severe anaemia, malignancy or severe cardiovascular disease. Patients with autoimmune diseases. Overweight due to endocrine disorders including hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, polycystic ovarian syndrome or Cushing syndrome. Patients receiving conventional weight loss medication or previous weight loss surgery. Psychiatric illness. Alcoholism or substance abuse. Patients following a strict non vegetarian or vegan diet.

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in Body Mass Index with individualized homoeopathic medicine along with diet and regimen compared to placebo with diet and regimen.Timepoint: At baseline,and at 3 month intervals up to 12 months.
