Inclusion criteria: Age:5-12 years American Society of Anesthesiologists Class I AND II Elective Surgery under General Anesthesia Mallampati Class I AND II
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Refusal to participate in the study Mallampati Class III and IV Patient with Critical Illnesses Patient who is known case of Seizures and Congenital Abnormalities Allergy to Midazolam and Dexmedetomidine American Society of Anesthesiologists 3 and 4, Obesity grade 3 and 4 Respiratory Tract Infections Developmental Delay and Psychiatric Illnesses Emergency surgery

| To compare the effect of nebulized dexmedetomidine, midazolam as sedative premedication for facilitating face mask acceptance. To compare the hemodynamic stability during laryngoscopy. To study the other effects of the drugs on the hemodynamics and the homeostasis apart from the sedative, anti-anxiety and analgesic properties To assess the onset and duration of sedation. To compare any adverse effects associated with each drug.
