Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Aged 50 years or older. Medically stable with no clinical contraindications to mobilisation. Eligible for mobilisation by nursing staff based on physiotherapy assessment. Mobile prior to admission that is able to walk 3 to4 metres with or without a walking aid during the 2 weeks before admission . Patient and family provide written informed consent. No significant cognitive impairment or delirium at recruitment from 4 AT assessment medical records.
