Intervention1: Lidocaine: Effect of lidocaine on tracheal cuff pressure measured by using a trasducer when pilot cuff is inflated with it at three different time period being T1- just after intubation

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who 1.consent to be part of this study 2.are undergoing elective laparoscopic resection under general anesthesia with orotracheal intubation were chosen for the study 3.are adults aged 18to65 years 4.have an ASA physical status I to III

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who 1.have asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or psychiatric disorders 2.have a BMI less than 19 kg/m2 or more than 30 kg /m2 3.have a Mallampati Classification III or IV 4.have preexisting sore throat, hoarseness, cough, or hemorrhage of laryngeal mucosa 5.were intubated more than once during anaesthesia induction 6.experienced bucking during surgery 7.had delayed emergence-inability to regain an adequate level of consciousness, unresponsiveness, or deep sedation for over 60 min from the last administration of anaesthetic agents 8.required reintubation within 48h after extubation

MeasureTime frame
To determine the effect of cuff inflation with air, saline and lidocaine on tracheal tube cuff pressure during laparoscopic surgeries under general anaesthesia. Timepoint: T1- after intubation but before creating pneumoperitoneum, T2- after 15 mins of creating pneumoperitoneum, T3- after exsufflation but before intubation.

MeasureTime frame
1. To determine the Tracheal Diameter-TD and Endotracheal Tube Cuff Diameter-CD on the selected participants using the ultrasound probe 2. To determine the correlation-if any, between the TD and CD measured by the ultrasound probe intraoperatively with the corresponding Tracheal Tube Cuff Pressure at various time intervals. 3. To assess the incidence of post-operative complications of using the above stated materials for inflation of endotracheal tube cuffTimepoint: T1- after intubation but before creating pneumoperitoneum. T2- after 15 mins of creating pneumoperitoneum. T3- after exsufflation but before intubation. Post op complication noted at 0hr,2hr,12hr and 24hr
