Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. isolated ACL tear confirmed clinically and on MRI scan 2. willingness to participate and provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. multiligamentous injuries 2. previous ankle and knee surgery 3. chronic ankle instability 4. associated fractures or systemic neuromuscular disease 5. revision ACL reconstruction
