Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children having clinical signs & symptoms of childhood obesity described in Ayurveda classics and modern literature. 2.Children with BMI 86th percentile - 94th percentile and above 95th percentile. 3.Children whose parents are willing to give consent for clinical trial. 4.Children of either gender, irrespective of caste and religion will be taken.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children aged below 8 years and above 18 years of age. 2.Children receiving drugs like steroids and anti- depressants drugs. 3.Childhood obesity due to endocrinal disorders like Cushing syndrome, hypothyroidism etc. 4.Children with BMI below 85th percentile is not considered. 5.Children whose parents are not willing to give consent for clinical trial.

To assess the effect of the intervention on childhood obesity, measured by 1.Body weight in kg. 2. Height in cm. 3. Body Mass Index (BMI) in Kg/m2. 4. Mid Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) - Rt. and Lt. Arms in cm. 5. IAP Growth chart Timepoint: Assessment - Day 1 Follow up - Day 15 , Day 30
