Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male and female patients with chronic periodontitis Presence of at least two or three sites with probing pocket depth PPD of greater than 5mm in maxillary and mandibular teeth Horizontal bone loss upto 2 to 3mm Teeth with upto Grade I mobility

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy and lactation Smokers and tobacco users Hypertension Diabetes Any other systemic disorders which affect the outcome of the treatment Patients who are unwilling to participate in the study Vertical or angular bone loss
