Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 years and 55 years 2. Chronic ankle sprain 3. Grade 1 and 2 injury of the anterior talofibular ligament or calcaneofibular ligament. 4. Active individuals involved in recreational sports but not professional athletes 5. Ability to stand on affected leg without assistance 6. Those who had a score of cumberland ankle instability tool (CAIT) of less than 24 points

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bilateral ankle injuries History of ankle surgery severe pain with visual analog scale Inability to perform required rehabilitation exercise or balance test
