Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Currently studying in a residential medical college, no prior daily chanting/ meditation practice. Able to understand and follow instructions related to chanting or breath awareness practice.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of diagnosed pyschological disorders. Example: Clinical depression, anxiety disorders, OCD. Presence of Chronic physical illness such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus or cardiac conditions. Currently taking psychotropic or cardiovascular medications. Students with hearing impairments or other conditions affecting participation in audio based interventions. Non residential students or those unable to complete the 21 day intervention.
