Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with grade 1 and 2 fatty liver established by ultrasonography. 2. Both sexes of age group above 18 years and below 60 years, irrespective of their race, caste, religion & socioeconomic status. 3. Individuals with no history of alcohol or alcohol consumption less than threshold level (30 g/day for males and 20 g/day for females).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients suffering from systemic illness with life threatening complications. 2. Patients with complications like liver cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma, cardiac failure. 3. Patients suffering from any other chronic liver disease like hepatitis B or C. 4. Patients who are under any other treatment for the same complaint. 5. Pregnant or lactating women 6. Patients with psychiatric disease, and those with immunocompromised state. 7. Substance abuse and/or dependence.
