Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of 40 years and above seeking prosthetic rehabilitation who have a completely edentulous maxilla

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not willing to participate, patients with the presence of bony tori, fibrous ridge, tissue undercuts and ridge resorption.

Use of light body polyvinylsiloxane impression material may provide more retention of the complete denture base than the denture base made by using zinc oxide eugenol impression material.Timepoint: The retentive force will be measured five minutes after complete denture base insertion.
