Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 40 years. Indicated for surgical removal of impacted mandibular third molars. ASA I or ASA II patients. Patients willing to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Acute infection at the surgical site. Systemic diseases affect healing. Pregnancy or lactation. History of radiotherapy to the head and neck region. Use of anticoagulants or immunosuppressive drugs. Patients are unwilling to participate or follow up.

To compare the intraoperative surgical duration between the two techniques To compare postoperative outcomes in terms of swelling, pain and trismus at various postoperative intervals.Timepoint: Baseline (preoperative) postoperative day 1 postoperative day 3 postoperative day 7
