Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Ability to read and write Hindi, English, Kannada. 2.Patients:a.Diagnosed with depression and anxiety as per DSM-5. b.Currently receiving treatment at NIMHANS. 3.Healthy:a. GHQ12 score below 3. b.No current psychiatric diagnosis 4. Willingness to attend minimum 14 supervised Yoga sessions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Participants with cognitive disabilities. 2.Patient with severe mental illness who fail to comprehend the questionnaires. 3.Patients with psychotic symptoms or with severe depression or anxiety or those with suicidal idealation. 4.Severe medical comorbidities that prevents the practice of yoga 5. Pregnancy
