Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged 18 to 80 years with trauma related surgical conditions planned for surgery under spinal anaesthesia or combined spinalepidural anaesthesia will be included. Patients with ASA physical status I, II, or III, who are able to communicate and willing to provide written informed consent, will be eligible.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients younger than 18 years or older than 80 years, ASA physical status IV or V, patients with contraindications to RA such as coagulopathy, local infection at injection site, raised intracranial pressure, or refusal of RA will be excluded. Patients with documented psychiatric illness, significant cognitive impairment, inability to understand the questionnaire, pre-existing chronic backache, or inability to complete follow-up will also be excluded. Patients receiving RA other than spinal anaesthesia or combined spinal-epidural anaesthesia, such as epidural-only anaesthesia, peripheral nerve block, plexus block, or local infiltration, will be excluded
