Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with sub-clinical or clinical Hypothyroidism confirmed by elevated Thyroid Stimulating Hormone levels will be included in the study. 2.Subjects belonging to age group 18 to 60 years irrespective of gender will be included. 3.Both newly diagnosed and previously diagnosed subjects that is either on standard Hypothyroidism treatment or who have discontinued treatment, with raised serum TSH levels greater than 5.0 mIU per Litre and lesser than 25.0 mIU per Litre will be included.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects with congenital hypothyroidism and secondary hypothyroidism will be excluded. 2.Subjects who have undergone thyroid surgery will be excluded. 3.Pregnant and lactating women will be excluded. 4.Subjects who are already diagnosed with neoplastic conditions, toxic goitre will be excluded. 5.Subjects with Diabetes mellitus of GRBS more than 250 mg per dL will be excluded. 6.Subjects with Grade 2 Hypertension that is systolic of 160mmHg and diastolic of 100mmHg will be excluded. 7.Subjects diagnosed with systemic diseases that may interfere with the study will be excluded. 8.Subjects who are unfit for Vamana and Nasya procedure will be excluded in the respective groups.
