Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: atleast one pair of bilateral primary molars with similar pulpal vitality and chronic irreversible pulpitis, restorable crown, no acute abscess or swelling, coronal radiolucency involving pulp/ furcal area/ PDL widening, Frankl behaviour rating scale 3 or4 , parents willing to give informed consent and assent from child

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: acute abscess, systemic diseases affecting pain perception, use of analgesic in past 12 hours, unrestorable crowns, advanced root resorption
