Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants between 6 to 12 years of age will be included 2. Participants who require bilateral Inferior alveolar nerve block for tooth extraction or endodontic procedure 3. Participants who have never been exposed to dental anesthesia prior to the study 4. Participants with Frankel s behaviour rating scale three and four
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants with any systemic condition and mental and physical disabilities like cerebral palsy, autism and other 2. Participants with complaint of cold and cough within last fifteen days 3. Participants with known history of peppermint oil or benzocaine allergy 4. Participants with history of abscess or redness at the injection site 5. Participants who do not give assent and parents who do not give written consent for their child to participate in the study
