Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have not taken any antibiotics either topical or systemic for the last 7 days

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Post operative discharging cavities were excluded from the study Complicated cases of CSOM like intracranial complications Petrositis Labyrinthitis and Facial nerve palsy were excluded from the study Immunocompromised patients Anaerobic bacterial and fungal culture positive patients sample
