Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 95 years Histologically confirmed IGBC more than and equal to pT1b Referred or diagnosed within the study period Fit for surgical evaluation and follow up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: T1a tumors (no indication for re-resection) Evidence of distant metastasis or peritoneal disease Prior neoadjuvant therapy before re-resection. Palliative-intent surgery. Refusal or lost to follow-up

To describe the clinical and pathological profile of patients diagnosed with incidental gallbladder cancer.Timepoint: All consecutive patients diagnosed with incidental gallbladder cancer, undergoing revision radical cholecystectomy surgery within the study period of 18 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To find a correlation between various secondary objectives & their overall effect on disease outcome To analyze referral patterns & delays. To assess the proportion undergoing radical reresection. To determine the incidence & sites of residual disease. To evaluate disease free survival & overall survival.Timepoint: All consecutive patients diagnosed with incidental gallbladder cancer undergoing revision radical cholecystectomy surgery within the study period of 18 months
