Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia with Hamilton-Norwood scoring for men and Ludwigs or Sinclair scoring for women who wish to participate in the trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Prior scalp surgery for alopecia. Any known organic GI disease, recent major GI surgery altering bowel habits. Antibiotic use within one month or probiotic tissues within 15 days prior. Systemic conditions/ medications that majorly alter hair or gut function, recent chemotherapy, systemic immunosuppressant. Patients receiving hormonal therapy. Pregnant women and women in postpartum period within six months
