Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: children aged eight to 10 years. parents giving consent and children giving assent. parents who own smartphone and use WhatsApp. children with fair to poor oral hygiene index simplified scores

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: Children with underlying systemic disease or on chronic medication. Children with special health care needs. Those undergoing or have undergone preventive oral treatment in the past. Children undergoing orthodontic treatment

The primary outcome data in this study is improvement in oral hygiene changes Debris index simplified (DI-S) component of Oral hygiene index simplified (OHI-S) given by John C Greene and Jack R Vermillion in 1964 (Annexure 1) at follow up periods.Timepoint: baseline, 1 week, 3 months
