Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients having septic shock as defined by Sepsis 3 definition requring vasopressor for at least 12 hours duration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Septic shock duration either less than 12 hours or more than 24 hours at the time of inclusion 2. Age less than 18 years 3. Expected survival less than 72 hours 4. Caregiver refused to give consent to participate in the study

MeasureTime frame
All-cause mortality.Timepoint: Day 14 after the onset of septic shock.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To study the prognostic utility of neutrophil cell population parameter for organ dysfunction measured through SOFA score, and vasopressor free days after the onset of septic shockTimepoint: At day 7 and day 14 after the inclusion.
