Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients who were diagnosed with Mental and Behavioral Disorders due to use of opioids dependence syndrome continuous use according to International Classification of Mental and Behavioral Disorders Diagnostic Criteria for Research Patients who have completed detoxification and get a Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale score of less than or equal to 5. Right handed patients and Patients with normal or corrected vision.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of any Psychiatric illness except Mild depression and anxiety disorders. Patients with comorbid Cocaine or Hallucinogens Dependence syndrome. Patients with comorbid substance use except for nicotine and caffeine dependence syndrome. Patients who have received electroconvulsive therapy in the past 6 months. Patients with sensory impairments. Having undergone any other neuromodulation techniques in the past 3 months. Diagnosed with Intellectual disability.

| The primary outcomes of the study are impulsivity and executive functioning which are used to determine the effects of the SMR neurofeedback intervention in individuals with Opioid Dependence Syndrome Impulsivity will be assessed using the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale 11 and executive functioning will be assessed using the CANTAB measures. Outcomes will be assessed at specific time points baseline pre-intervention and post intervention after completion of 15 neurofeedback sessions.Timepoint: 3 weeks | — |
