Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with unprovoked seizure Unprovoked seizure is defined as seizure that cannot be explained by an immediate obvious precipitating cause such as head trauma or intracranial infection metabolic cause

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Febrile convulsions Seizures secondary to metabolic or toxic causes eg hypoglycemia poisoning or trauma Children with developmental delay

The study will determine the clinical and etiological features of unprovoked seizures and the proportion of neuroimaging and electroencephalogram abnormalities in them.Timepoint: At baseline

By establishing the correlations between clinical features & diagnostic findings we can analyse the concordance between electrophysiological & structural abnormalities to identify overlapping diagnostic patternsTimepoint: at baseline
