Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Plating system designed to: 1. Reduce the number of plates used in fixation of fractures 2. To promote faster healing 3. To occupy less space and hardware in treatment of mandibular fracturesTimepoint: Plating system designed to: 1.To check the reduction of the fracture fragment immediate post operatively on day 1 2. To assess radigraphic reduction of reduction with the novel plate after 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To achieve: 1. improved stability 2. improved surgical handling 3. faster healingTimepoint: Day 5 and Day 7 postoperatively
