Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I and ASA II patients. patients undergoing elective upper limb surgeries and limb of patients between 18-24 kg/m^2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal. Infection at injection site; coagulopathy; pregnancy; 1st 2nd and 3rd degree heart block; peripheral neuropathy and known allergy or hypersensitivity to local anesthetic drug

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. onset of sensory block. 2. onset of motor block. 3. duration of motor blockade.Timepoint: 1. Assessed at baseline and every 5 minutes, 10 minutes , 15 minutes, 30 minutes 60 minutes 60 minutes and 120 minutes after block placement until complete motor and sensory block occurs. 2. duration of motor blockade monitored postoperatively at regular intervals until full motor recovery.
