Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged 4-8 years old (permanent or mixed dentition). 2. Children having Loe and Silness Gingival Index (Score 1) 3. Children having Silness and Low Plaque Index (Score 2) 4. Children with ICDAS- Score 3 and 4 5. Able to comprehend and follow simple oral hygiene instructions and participate in interactive kit activities.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with systemic illnesses or medical conditions. 2. Recent (within 2 weeks) use of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, or medications known to affect gingival status. 3. Ongoing orthodontic appliance therapy or extensive restorative treatment planned during study period.

Children receiving the oral hygiene kit are expected to show improved brushing frequency, reduced plaque, and gingival index scores, reduced ICDAS scores and greater motivation toward oral hygiene compared to those receiving verbal and written instructions, demonstrating the kit s effectiveness in promoting better compliance and long-term oral health habits.Timepoint: 1month, 3months and 6 months
