Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged 18 years and above undergoing elective cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass will be enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pre existing severe renal impairment,Significant hepatic dysfunction, Critically ill patients, Emergent or redo cardiac surgery, Contraindications to transesophageal echocardiography.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the intraoperative corelation between TEE derived VExUS score and right ventricular systolic and distolic dysfunction.Timepoint: From the day of surgery to the day of discharge from the hospital.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the intraoperative corelation between TEE derived VExUS score and incidence of acute kidney injury in postop.Timepoint: From the day of surgery to the day of discharge from the hospital.;To access the predictive value of VExUS score for Postoperative Acute kidney injury.Timepoint: From the day of surgery to the day of discharge from the hospital.
