Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged 1 to 3 years regardless of gender caste religion or socioeconomic status Children diagnosed with Karshya present relevant symptoms Children with poor weight gain, appearing lean and thin are classified as Grade I or Grade II underweight as per IAP growth standards

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children below 1 year or above 3 years of age Children with severe malnutrition as per Grade III or IV as per IAP classification Presence of edema and any form of physical disability Known cases of systemic infections or chronic disorders such as tuberculosis HIV congenital or hereditary diseases cardiac neurological endocrine liver disorders anatomical defects cerebral palsy nephrotic syndrome malabsorption malignancies lactose intolerance etc
