Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age more than 18 and less than or equal to 70 of either Sex and ASA grade 1 and 2 patients scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Upper airway malformations or disorders; Obvious distorted anatomy or structural abnormality of head, neck, and thorax; Cervical spine abnormalities causing restriction in the movement of the neck and using a cervical collar; Patient with limitation of TMJ and atlanto-axial joint; Rheumatic disease of the cervical spine; Patient with recent head and neck surgery; Obstetric Patients; Patient with oral and maxillofacial tumors and fractures, and unable or disability to open mouth; Patient with restricted mouth opening; Obese patients (BMI more than or equal to 30); Patient requiring awake intubation; Patient with OSA; Midline swelling of the neck; Burns contractures on the neck; Surgery requiring rapid sequence induction.
