Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children 3 to 12 years of age with clinical diagnosis of Autism spectrum disorder, confirmed by clinical assessment and supportive standardized tool ISAA attending Early intervention center at tertiary care hospital.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: chronic systemic illnesses needing routine vitamin D supplementation like cerebral palsy, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, malabsorption syndromes, hyperparathyroidism, chronic use antiepileptics, glucocorticoids,ketoconazole,severe vitamin D deficiency less than 12ng per ml, rickets and unlikely to follow up for 1 year at early intervention center.
