Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Systemically healthy Individuals with no history of systemic diseases or medical conditions and not on any medications that could influence oral health, immune response or tissue healing. 2. Participants aged 35-60 yrs with diagnosis of generalised periodontitis stage II (acc to World Workshop 2017 classification of periodontal and peri implant diseases and condition ) with at least 20 natural teeth 3. Probing pocket depth 4-6mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants with previous history of antibiotic therapy/ steroidal therapy/ immunosuppression drugs in the last 3 months. 2. Previous history of periodontal therapy within 6 months.. 3. Pregnant/ lactating women/ women using oral contraceptives. 4. History of smoking/ tobacco/ gutka/ pan chewing.
