Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Tribal school children aged 14 to 16 years Children with natural dentition a minimum of 20 permanent teeth Willingness to participate and provide consent parental consent and child assent where required
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with systemic illnesses for example diabetes known to affect oral health outcomes Children who have received systemic antibiotic therapy within the previous three months as this artificially suppresses the microbiological load Children with fixed orthodontic appliances as these significantly alter plaque accumulation mechanics and retention rates
