Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: children admitted to PICU aged between 1 month and 15 years on mechanical ventilation for 72 hours with stable or improving organ score and on enteral nutrition

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with an acute kidney injury score of 3, fluid overload of more than 10 per cent, suspected or known inborn error of metabolism or with acute liver failure
