Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| To determine the diagnostic accuracy of the 10-minute perfusion index ratio in predicting final procedural success following ultrasound guided brachial plexus blockTimepoint: Baseline, 10 minutes and 30 minutes | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| 1. To evaluate the temporal trends in perfusion index & perfusion index ratio over time at 5, 10 & 15 minutes following ultrasound guided nerve block & to compare these trends between patients with procedural success & procedural failure 2. To explore the relationship between early perfusion index trends & patient reported pain scores following nerve blockTimepoint: Baseline, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes & 30 minutes | — |
