Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Both sexes of Age group above 18 and below 60 years, irresepective of their race caste religion and socioeconomic status 2. Clinical diagnosis of haemorrhoids confirmed by digital rectal examination with proctoscopy 3 . Goligher Grade I to III internal haemorrhoids 4. Symptomatic patients ( one or more of: rectal bleeding, prolapse reducible spontaneously/ manually, pain/ discomfort, pruritus, mucoid discharge , constipation / straining). 5. Symptom duration more than 2 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Acute thrombosed external haemorrhoid with onset less than 72 hours. 2. Concomitant anorectal conditions likely to confound outcomes: anal fissure with significant pathology, fistula-in-ano, perianal abscess, pilonidal disease. 3.Red-flag features suggesting alternative serious pathology (unexplained weight loss,persistent change in bowel habit especially if more than 40 years, melena) unless malignancy is ruled out. 4. Inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn s disease, ulcerative colitis) or radiation proctitis. 5. Portal hypertension, rectal varices, or known advanced liver disease. 6. Severe anemia (e.g., Hb less than 8 g/dL) or hemodynamic instability due to bleeding disorder. 7. Significant uncontrolled systemic disease, uncontrolled diabetes, advanced CKD, decompensated heart failure, active malignancy,immunosuppression). 8. Pregnancy or lactation 9. Recent anorectal surgery (within 6 months) or haemorrhoid-specific procedures (rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy, infrared coagulation) within last 3 months. 10. Current use of haemorrhoid-specific topical/systemic therapies or other alternative-system interventions unwilling to undergo a washout ( washout period 2 weeks). 11. Diagnosed case of mental illness / psychiatric/ life threatening illness/any organ failure.

To find out the effectiveness of individualized homoeopathic medicines in the treatment of Haemorrhoids using Haemorrhoid Symptom Severity Score (HSS score) focusing on improvement in the severity of symptoms such as Bleeding , Prolapse and Pain. Timepoint: 1 year (12 months)
