Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patient of age group 18 years to 35 years. 2. Patients of all gender. 3. Clinically diagnosed cases of acute tonsillitis on the basis of clinical features. 4. Patients belonging to all Socio-economic group.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with chronic or recurrent tonsillitis 2.Patients with complications of Tonsillitis. 3.Patients having systemic diseases such as uncontrolled diabetes, immunocompromised states, etc. 4.Patients who are taking other medications or antibiotics for acute tonsillitis 3 months prior to study. 5.Patient having acute exacerbation of chronic tonsillitis. 6.Pregnant or lactating women. 7.Patient of Acute Tonsillitis having fever above 102 F and any other red flag as a result of Acute Tonsillitis.
