Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient with irrespective of sex. 2.Patient with a diagnosis of GERD and reports experiencing the frequency of eight main symptoms. Heart burn, food regurgitation, flatulence, belching, dysphagia, nausea, vomiting and acid regurgitation. 3.Having at least 2to 6 days of GER episode per week with heartburn and with or without regurgitation. 4.Patients not taking antacid or PPIs treatment for at least 2 weeks prior to initiation of intervention. 5.Patients with Anxiety in HAM-A Scale. mild to moderate anxiety severity score 18to 24. 6.Patients with depression in HAM-D Scale. mild to moderate depression score 8 to 23

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy, Gastro intestinal bleeding disorders, Erosive esophagitis, Barrett esophagus. Other Gastrointestinal disorders (Intestinal obstructive diseases, peptic ulcer, etc), Treatment resistance GERD, Psychiatric patients, patients under anxiety or depression medication, other severe organic diseases

MeasureTime frame
The study aims to demonstrate that Ayurvedic management significantly reduces GERD symptoms and improves psychological well-being, validating the integrative approach in treating psychosomatic conditions like Urdhwaga Amlapitta. Timepoint: Before treatment After Treatment of 30 days, 60 days, 90 days.
