Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status I/II. Patients undergoing elective intermediate or major surgery Patients having BMI within range of 18-35 kg/m2. Patients giving consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy Emergency cases Diabetes mellitus History of intestinal obstruction Patients taking calcium channel blockers, Beta blockers ASA III and IV. Substance abuse Morbid Obese BMI more than 40 kg/m2. Allergic to study drugs. Patients requiring post operative ICU ventilation.
