Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patient fulfilling diagnostic criteria with or without swelling patient diagnosed on the basis of classical symptoms of janusandhigatavata patient fit for matra basti patient who are willing to give consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient having symptoms of vatarakta amavata patients having history of amavata patient with systemic disorder patient having symptoms or being diagnosed as any arthritis other than knee osteoarthritis patient with acute traumatic injury to the knees congenital bony deformity
