Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male University-level cricket spinner Aged 18-25 yrs. Clinical diagnosis of mid-portion or insertional Achilles tendinopathy. Presence of localized pain and stiffness in the Achilles tendon. Symptomatic duration of at least 3 months.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous rupture or surgical intervention of the Achilles tendon. Use of fluoroquinolone antibiotics or corticosteroid injections in the preceding 6 months. Presence of systemic inflammatory diseases or lower limb neurological deficits.
