Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Women between age group 18 to 45 years both married & unmarried. Abnormal uterine bleeding associated with ovulatory dysfunction (AUB-O).Abnormal uterine bleeding associated with iatrogenic causes (AUB-I specifically IUD related).Patients presenting with at least one of the following features will be included in the study:Excessive bleeding,Prolonged duration.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Structural Pelvic Pathology (PALM): Bleeding due to Cervical Erosion, Carcinoma, Uterine Fibroids (Leiomyoma), or Endometrial Polyps.Systemic & Related Factors: Bleeding following abortion or pregnancy-related complications.Blood Coagulation disorders (AUB-C) or systemic bleeding diathesis. Extragenital bleeding (Bleeding from any site other than the uterus). Suffering from malignancies and chronic systemic diseases like, uncontrolled hypertension (Systolic blood pressure above 160 & Diastolic blood pressure above 100mmhg),uncontrolled diabetes (above the range of 160-200 mg/dl (RBS), Venereal disease. Post-menopausal bleeding.Hb less than 7gm.
