Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age of patient: 4-14 years 2. Gender: male and female 3. Patients posted for tonsillectomy or adenotonsillectomy under general anaesthesia 4. ASA Grade I & II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: EXCLUSION CRITERIA 1. Acute pharyngeal infection 2. Peri-tonsillar abscess 3. Cardiovascular, renal or liver disease 4. Neurological or psychiatric disease 5. Coagulation disturbances 6. ASA Physical status of III and above
