Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Small Thoracic Empyema defined on NCCT - Maximum Width of Empyema With Respect to Antero-Postetior Diameter of Hemithorax is Less than 20 Percentage.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients With Diabetes Mellitus. 2.Patients In Which Thoracic Surgery is Needed For Other Indications. 3.Patients With Immune Deficiency Disorders. 4.Patients Not Willing For Periodic Assessments. 5.Patients Not Willing To Participate In The Study.

1.To Observe Clinical And Radiological Features In Asymptomatic Patients Presenting With Small Chronic Thoracic Empyema. 2.To Assess The Success Rate Of Observation In Such Patients.Timepoint: At 3 months then at 6 months for 18 months.—

MeasureTime frame
To Assess The Etiology Of The Empyema. To Assess The Rate Of Spontaneous Resolution Of Empyema.Timepoint: At 3 months then at 6 months for 18 months.—
